Introducing Sunset Pediatrics Newborn Care Classes.

What to Expect.

This 45-minute class is designed to provide new parents with essential information and practical skills for caring for your newborn. The course will cover crucial topics such as feeding, sleep patterns, hygiene, and health monitoring. Participants will gain confidence and knowledge to ensure the well-being and safety of their newborns.

Class Information

  • Registration: For all classes registration covers 2 participants and class sizes are capped at 10 couples. Please contact us if you need to discuss special circumstances or arrangements.

  • Cost: $30 per couple. *Scholarships are available, please contact our office if you would like to discuss financial assistance.

  • Upcoming Dates and Times:

    • Saturday June 7th - 1:30pm

    • Saturday August 2nd - 1:30pm

  • Who Can Attend: All expectant parents whether it’s your first child or not are welcome. Parents who have had a baby within 6 weeks of the class date are also welcome to attend. You do not have to be a patient of Sunset Pediatrics to attend.

  • Location: This class will be held in person at our clinic located in the East Pavilion of Providence St. Vincent Hospital.

  • Content: This class is taught be a pediatrician and will focus exclusively on the care of the newborn baby. *If you are looking for a class that covers pregnancy and birth preparation we recommend the childbirth preparation courses taught by your OB or the hospital that you will be delivering at.
